Quality Assurance

Quality is built into production, not inspected into it. At Pengchin Metalwork, we embed company-wide quality awareness into every stage of the manufacturing process—from raw material procurement and processing to final packaging and shipment. For each step, we establish and rigorously enforce detailed quality inspection standards. We also adopt advanced quality management methodologies to implement in-process quality control and proactive error prevention. For every employee, an unwavering commitment to quality is the foundation of sustainable development.

Our quality philosophy prioritizes prevention over inspection, a principle realized through close collaboration between the Quality Department and the Production Department.

The Quality Department is structurally divided into three core modules: IQC (Incoming Quality Control), IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), and FQC (Final Quality Control), with IPQC as the central focus—because we firmly believe that quality is manufactured, not merely inspected.

We apply SPC (Statistical Process Control) to IPQC process management. Guided by a prevention-oriented strategy, we conduct Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) during the prototype development stage to minimize potential quality risks in mass production. For corrective and preventive actions, we utilize professional quality control tools to perform root cause analysis, eliminate fundamental issues, and prevent the recurrence of similar problems.
